Gluten Free Texas Sheet Cake

A. In a sauce pan heat 6 T. butter & 1/2 c. water B. Mix together:
1 c. gluten free flour mixture
3/4 c. sugar

1 t. baking soda
1 egg
1/2 t. xantham gum 1/4 t. salt

1/4 c. sour cream
1 T. almond extract
C. Blend A into B well. Do not over mix, but blend well.

Pour into a 9×13 baking pan that has been greased and floured with GF flour. Bake at 375 degrees 18-20 minutes

Frost with the glaze while cake is hot.

Glaze:
1/2 stick of butter
3 T. milk
Melt together
Add:
1/2 box powdered sugar 1/2 c. nuts (opt)
1 t. almond extract
